Summer travels for families!

Thursday 26 July at 1:00 pm - Friday 31 August at 5:00 pm

In addition to garden activities in summer there will be special games trails and creative fun every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for children. We will run an exciting selection of craft and musical activities each week. Pick up your ‘Britten Passport’ and see how many activity stamps you can gather over the summer holidays!

Britten’s Boats (26, 28 July)
Make your own model sailing boat. Will your boat float or sink in our mini pool?

Bird-noculars (31 July, 2, 4 August)
Make your very own bird binoculars and see if you can spot our resident Kestrels in the gardens.

Make a Note (7, 9, 11 August)
Have a go at making a beautiful musical note, a stunning addition to any bedroom!

Let’s go Fly a Kite (14, 16, 18 August)
Benjamin Britten loved playing games and owned a lovely red kite. Make your own and see if it will fly!

Orchestra Hats (21, 23, 25 August)
Explore the instruments that make up an orchestra by making your own fun hat!

Make an Instrument (28, 30 August, 1 September)
Have a go at creating your own music just like Britten by making your own musical instruments.

Tickets: sessions included in admission charge, children under 16 free.
