Family Fun this Easter

There will be a range of activities for families to take part in during the Easter holidays. They will be based on the mythical giant Paul Bunyan, a character who was the subject of Benjamin Britten’s 1941 operetta. Sessions will include story-telling, trails, creative sessions and much more.

Easter Egg Hunt!

Saturday 31 March, 1-4pm

Come and find characters from Britten’s operetta Paul Bunyan in the garden! From giants to geese, cats and dogs to singing trees, cowboys, Swedish lumberjacks and terrible cooks. Match the pictures to the sounds, and get a chocolate egg as a reward.

Tickets: £10 per family group

Half-term fun!

Based on our Britten in America exhibition, there will be a giant map of the USA in the garden! Explore the different states, find famous landmarks, hear many kinds of music from all over the country, and follow Benjamin Britten’s road trip from coast to coast.
