Based on our Britten in America exhibition, there will be a giant map of the USA in the garden! Explore the different states, find famous landmarks, hear many kinds of music from all over the country, and follow Benjamin Britten’s road trip from coast to coast.

Wednesday 13th June 2018 at 7pm
An evening encounter with some of Britten’s vast and varied song repertoire. Wander through the gardens and domestic spaces, discovering moments of song in recorded sound and in live performance. Visitors will experience an unconventional, unique ‘recital’ which takes place across the whole site.
Saturday 28th July 2018 to Sunday 2nd September 2018
In addition to garden activities in summer there will be special games trails and creative fun every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for children. We will run an exciting selection of craft and musical activities each week. Pick up your ‘Britten Passport’ and see how many activity stamps you can gather over the summer holidays!

The critically-acclaimed Pantaloons present their innovative and hilarious open-air version of Shakespeare’s timeless comedy. Suitable for families, bring a picnic and something to sit on. Parking is limited on site, please see website for further information.

Parking: There is space for approx. 30 cars onsite. There will be a coach service with stops at Aldeburgh Church and Fort Green car parks. Timings for the coach to and from the site will be online nearer the time. Check back to this page for updates.
