Family Fun this Easter

There will be a range of activities for families to take part in during the Easter holidays. They will be based on the mythical giant Paul Bunyan, a character who was the subject of Benjamin Britten’s 1941 operetta. Sessions will include story-telling, trails, creative sessions and much more. See details below.

Animal Sound Hunt
Explore The Red House gardens and discover hidden animal sounds. Find them all and claim your chocolatey prize!

Make your own Giant Footprint!
Taking inspiration from Britten’s opera, recreate Paul Bunyan’s footprint.

Storytelling & Music sessions
Hear tales of local and international folklore and set them to music.

Enjoy our Paul Bunyan inspired ‘giant’ games in The Red House Garden.

Garden trail
Explore the gardens in a musical themed trail and claim your reward once completed.

Sessions included in admission charge, children under 16s free.
