The Red House site is a unique resource for schools, and has won awards for its work with families, children and young people. We have a number of exciting Key Stage 1-2 education sessions, linking to all areas of the National Curriculum. Click on the packs below for further information about each session and how to book.
As part of your visit:
- All teaching staff are welcome on a FREE pre visit to The Red House.
- All Suffolk schools are entitled to a FREE visit to your school by our education staff in advance of your visit.
- All our educational experiences are adaptable and our qualified staff will be delighted to have a conversation with teachers or lecturers to make sure that sessions meet your objectives.
While we suggest that participating in one of our staff led sessions is the best way to explore The Red House, you are welcome to develop your own teacher led visit (restricted to the Gallery, Library, Composition Studio and gardens). There is no charge for your own teacher led visit, but please contact us for further details.
We will be developing a number of exciting workshops for Key Stage 3-4. In the meantime please contact us with any visit requirements and we will be happy to develop a unique visit, tailored just for you.

#brittenpears“Great place to visit in Aldeburgh. The history is fascinating (even if you don’t know much about Britten and Pears) and the house, largely left as it was, is rambling and beautiful.”
